Low-Emission Zone Lille (France)

Lille (Hauts-de-France):
In Lille, differentiated traffic measures based on the Crit'Air certificate have been implemented during prolonged pollution peaks. These measures apply to all major roads in the city and only vehicles with a "Crit'Air" certificate of 0, 1, 2 or 3 are allowed to circulate during these periods. In addition, heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) complying with EURO IV, EURO V and EURO VI standards are allowed to circulate. notes:

  • all vehicles entering the LEZ need to have a visible sticker
  • german emission stickers (feinstaubplakette) are not recognized
  • parking fees may be differentiated depending on the impact of vehicles on air pollution
  • the penalty vary between 68-135€ (depending on the vehicle category)
  • Attention: For light commercial vehicles and vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, stricter driving bans apply in some cases.
