Low-Emission Zone Birmingham (Great Britain)

Birmingham (West Midlands):
Birmingham's Clean Air Zone is a Type D zone, meaning private car owners are also affected. The aim of the CAZ is to reduce concentrations of nitrogen dioxide in the city centre to improve air quality. A daily charge is applied to vehicle holders entering the CAZ area whose vehicles are not fitted with the most advanced De-NOx systems.
