Since 29th October 2020 the inner city of Arnhem will be a low emission zone. Only non-diesel vehicles or diesel vehicles with min. EURO 4 norm will be allowed to enter. Day exemption can be applied for all types of diesel cars with EURO-3 or lower. The rules for dutch enviromental zones also apply to foreign vehicles.

Oldtimers (40+ years)
- older passenger cars receive an exemption
Campers & Motorhomes
- exemption possible for residents living inside of the LEZ
Other Exceptions
- oldtimers, vehicles for persons with disabilities.
notes:
- the LEZ area is monitored by a camera system and random inspection from traffic police
- There is no need to register in advance for foreign vehicles
- The fine for violating the LEZ rules is €100 (passenger cars and vans)
